‘Recycled sailcloth is unique. Its marks and imperfections, tell the tale of its former life on an ocean wave’. A sustainable and resourceful approach to this Spring/Summer collection by reusing unwanted and damaged sails, from local sailing clubs. Focusing on a functional and unique womenswear sailing collection which aims to empower women in a traditionally male-dominated sport. Inspired by the typography and numbering on laser sails, as well as signal flag designs, this collection embodies a nautical theme, with the sailcloth graphics adding authenticity to each garment. Pieces offer a blend of style and performance, while providing confidence for women out on the water. By repurposing sails, this has not only reduced waste but also showcases the uniqueness of sustainable fashion.
